Here are the instructions to make your first google stories video.  It’s Easy, FREE and Fun. What you’ll need is flash video and your YouTube user name and password when you go to upload.

1. Type in http://www.youtube.com/searchstories
2. Click “create your own”.
3. Type in some search terms that tell a story. I believe you need at least 5 rows of the 7 completed. Google searches those terms and puts the results into your video.
4. Decide whether you want your google searches to be “web”, “images”, “map” etc. by clicking on the drop down menu at the far right.
5. On the last row I suggest you put your URL. However, the video goes by quickly so it is not something that a viewer could easily pick up.
6. Choose your music.
7. Click finish and upload to your UTube account.

These 7 steps literally took me 5 minutes as a first time user and I’m not by any stretch a cmputer pro. Obviously there are better ways to make product videos but these search videos do pack a punch and look at the views they are generating!

I have attached 2 google search stories videos for you to see the potential. The first link  at the top of the page is a humorous spoof on google’s search stories and the second link  at the bottom of the page is a great example of how you use these as videos to emotionally touch your audience.
